Irate Diesel Performance is a domestic US manufacture of turbo mounting systems.
We have built thousands of T4 7.3L mounting systems since the first one nearly 10 years ago in 2008.
Many record holding racers with the guts to hammer down have made their name using our system.
The 7.3L has a reputation for being a tough nearly indestrucable force. It requires a system every bit as robust to match its might.
Our system and the 7.3L is a match that never stops working.
Mounting plates: We spec only US Made 1/2″ Mild Steel plate laser cut locally, and in the US heartland.
Tubing: We spec US Made 304 Stainless Steel .0625″ wall tubing mandrel bent locally in Portland, Oregon. Up-pipe uses lined Stainless Steel bellows.

Irate’s 94-97 7.3L OBS, OEM Replacement T-4 Turbo Mount Systems
The 94-97 Irate 7.3L OBS, OEM replacement T-4 turbo mount system was designed specifically for the old body style (OBS) application.
The Irate OBS, OEM system works with your original factory T-4 turbo and exhaust manifolds.
The OBS, OEM can be used as a direct drop-in replacement for the factory up-pipe systems.
Like our fully race proven systems the OBS, OEM is a back-purge tig welded one piece unit designed to maximize exhaust flow for greater boost.
The OBS, OEM replacement is built from the exact same materials as our full race turbo mount systems.

Irate’s 6.0L Power Stroke Turbo Mount Systems
Our 6.0L T4 Turbo Mounting system has been in production for a number of years and has proven to be the water mark in the industry.
With a level of ease of installation, these units are popular among our 6.0L fans.
The 6.0L motor can lay down some serious horespower when properly set up, but like the ledgondary 7.3L it requires the right match of robust parts.
This unit allows our off road racers to run either a 300 or 400 series turbo.
Mounting plates: Our spec is US Made 1/2″ 304 grade Stainless Steel plate, laser cut locally, and in the US heartland.
Tubing: Our spec is US Made 304 Stainless Steel .0625″ wall tubing mandrel bent locally in Portland, Oregon. Up-pipe uses braided Stainless Steel bellows.

Irate’s Fuel Systems
The Irate Diesel Performance Fuel System has long been proven to be the highest quality and most reliability systems on the market to date. The more recent addition of our fully integrated 6061 aluminum billet filter/pump base has proven to be our greatest improvement to date.
This system reduces the amount of fittings and hoses more commonly used in other systems. This further improves fuel flow needed by todays high performance diesel engines.
We produce this product in several performance variations. The Irate Fuel System is highly adaptable to a multitude of different performance pumps which makes it the most versatile system you can buy.
The Irate Fuel System is compact and likely the lowest profile systems in the world of diesel performance. This system allows for custom mounting solutions and can provide much greater vehicle ground clearance than the more common top mounted pump systems.
Our systems require less than 9 inches of clearence top to bottom when mounted inside the frame rail. This unit currently comes with a simple mount bracket for inside frame rail mounting.
Various universal brackets are currently under design or in testing and will be available once proven.

IDP Plenum, 7.3L
IDP Plenum, 7.3L Our spec is 1/4″ plate 6061 Alumminum TIG welded to 1/8″ wall tubing that will not crush from too much boot clamp pressure. These pressure plates withstand high amounts of boost and come in pre-1995 8-bolt or as 1995-2003 10-bolt head styles.
We do not cut corners on our Plenum and take extra time to slot and mill the corner on these units so you can take advantage of every mounting bolt available.
We have our plates laser cut locally and in the US heartland. The tube joining is done by one of our own IDP race team member.
We have witnessed 1000+ RWHP Dyno runs and many low 11 second 1/4 mile passes without a single failure using the IDP Plenum.

IDP Boot kit with Clamps
The IDP Boot Kit with Clamps can be used for stock and aftermarket intercooler systems and turbo kits. The IDP Boot & Clamp Kit uses Multi-Ply Silicon boots with high strength Stainless Steel Clamps. Our Stainless Steel Clamps work well with the IDP Plenum and make the pressure needed to maximize boot clamping.
Caution: Our clamps have the ability to crush stock Plenum tubing. We recommend replacing stock Plenum with the IDP 6061 aluminum Plenum for best performance.
IDP competition valve spring kit
Kit includes springs, retainers and locks.
IDP competition valve spring kits give 150psi seat pressure for engines running very high boost and need to maintain proper valve control. We recommend these for anyone using over 600+ RWHP or 300/200cc hybrid injectors and up.

Irate Diesel Performance, Regulated Fuel Return System
The Irate, Regulated Fuel Return System uses mandrel bent 304 stainless steel hardlines with Parker fittings, and comes with a Fuelab regulator and a pressure gage.
The Irate, Regulated Fuel Return System is one of the cleanest simplest kits on the market. All lines are mandrel bent in the USA!
The Irate, Regulated Fuel Return System is designed to delete the factory fuel bowl system.
